General Care

To help preserve the beauty and longevity of your Jamu Studio pieces, we recommend:

Handle your accessories with care and avoid pulling, stretching, or excessive pressure.
Store items in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Keep products away from water, perfumes, lotions, cosmetics, hairspray, and harsh chemicals.
Avoid exposing accessories to excessive humidity or heat.
Remove accessories before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping.
Avoid storing pieces in crowded drawers or bags where embellishments may become damaged.

Jewellery Care

Many Jamu Studio jewellery pieces feature delicate beads, crystals, pearls, stones, threads, and metal components.

To keep your jewellery looking its best:

Put jewellery on after applying makeup, perfume, or skincare products.
Remove jewellery before bathing, swimming, or exercising.
Avoid direct contact with water and cleaning products.
Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear.
Store pieces separately to avoid scratching or tangling.

Please note that natural tarnishing may occur over time depending on wear, storage conditions, climate, and exposure to moisture.

Paranda Care

Our parandas are handcrafted using decorative trims, tassels, braids, threads, ribbons, and embellishments.

To maintain their appearance:

Store flat or hang carefully when not in use.
Avoid pulling or brushing decorative tassels aggressively.
Keep away from water and damp environments.
Avoid contact with oils, styling products, and perfumes.
Gently untangle strands by hand if needed.

If your paranda becomes creased during storage or shipping, allow it to hang naturally before use.

Hair Accessories

Our bows, clips, scrunchies, hair ties, and decorative accessories are carefully handmade and should be handled gently.

We recommend:

Avoid over-stretching elastic components.
Remove accessories carefully to prevent snagging.
Store away from direct sunlight when not in use.
Keep embellishments away from water and moisture.

Embroidered & Beaded Pieces

Many Jamu Studio pieces feature detailed hand embroidery, beadwork, sequins, pearls, and decorative embellishments.

To preserve these delicate details:

Do not machine wash or soak.
Do not iron directly onto embellishments.
Store individually where possible to prevent snagging.

Slight movement or settling of beads and embellishments over time can occur and is considered part of the natural ageing process of handcrafted products.

Do not soak in water
Spot clean gently using a soft, slightly damp cloth where necessary
Allow items to air dry naturally
